Description

One should know what one is doing, because our brand new Lycos 2.0 is actually a piece of sports equipment. The perfect symbiosis of power and speed. This high-performance mat is easy to maneuver on four lines. Skillful use of the brakes improves maneuverability enormously, and the sail is given an extra boost of power by cleverly cambering it.
Even in light winds, it builds up a surprising amount of base power, but as soon as the wind picks up, there's no stopping it. A slide on the bottom of your pants is guaranteed. If you want, you can use the Lycos Quad on a landboard or on a buggy in strong winds. However, it remains unmistakably a Lycos. Everything is much quicker than with a conventional four-line power kite. The wind window is quickly crossed. So: you should know what you're doing.

We also took our cue from the Lycos when it came to the material: Lightweight cloth (Chikara) that can really take a punch and a bridle made of unsheathed Dyneema for minimum drag. This guarantees fun in a wide wind range.
A prospos: It is difficult to recommend a wind range for such a high-performance kite. Depending on body weight, experience and the circumstances (gusts, ground set, etc.), caution is advised for light pilots even at four Bft. In a buggy, with the right experience, you can get away with six Bft. So: you should know what you are doing...
